Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Installation - 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500- Video
Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD, we'll be installing the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit with removable arms, part number BX1724. Here's what out base plate looks like once it's been installed. As you can see, a very minimal amount sticks out of the bumper. Just this point right here, for where the safety cables of your towing vehicle or RV will attach to. It almost looks just like the factory installation there, where the tow hooks were. You don't have to worry about too much sticking out. Nice clean installation. The removable arms make it really compact, for when you need to park your vehicle, when you don't need to worry about running into your garage door or anything like that. You insert them at a 90 degree angle, where the tip is horizontal. more
